Learn Kannada - 1

I have many friends who want to learn Kannada even though they don't really need it to survive in Bangalore.

I know there are hundreds of websites for this. But most of them won't tell you how to pronounce it. I will make an attempt towards that.

Before getting into words and sentences, I will introduce the keypad/ transliteration format I will be using throughout these pages. The intention is to help the learners read the Kannada words written in English, and not to teach the Kannada alphabets. Since most of my friends can read Hindi, I have used Hindi as the sample language here.
